The history of our parish is a great read for all Americans and people of faith. Our parish has been referred to as the "Mother Church of Catholic New York" by author Leo Raymond Ryan in his 1935 book published by The United States Catholic Historical Society. The foundation of Catholic New York is a story of piety, generosity, industry and courage that has continued to inspire our parish today.
